Meet Our Staff – Advancing Your Legal Journey

Entering the legal process can be overwhelming. There are forms to fill out, court dates to set, and a lot of questions that need answering. On top of that, you are emotionally processing a difficult season while carrying on with daily life. At Phillips & Peters, when we join you on your legal journey, our focus is to take you safely to your desired destination. Our staff knows the legal pathways well. Along with your attorney, they will be your guide during your time with us.

First, you’ll encounter Ms. Tamara Redman. She is the administrative assistant at reception and manages incoming calls, consultations, and more at the front desk. With an extensive history of customer service, Tamara knows the importance of delivering the right information efficiently. If you need further assistance as a client, she will connect you with your dedicated paralegal.

Ashley Keil has over 12 years of experience as a paralegal and has a dedication to helping her clients move forward. She reflected, “I have learned to be sympathetic and caring to my clients when they need someone in their corner.  If that’s all I can do to help them move forward during one of the hardest times in their lives, it’s the least I can do.  It’s important that they feel we have their back and I make sure they know we do every day.”

Office Manager and paralegal, Nancy Baker, has an amazing eye for detail. When coupled with her experience in the legal field she has the ability to know exactly what a client requires. “Some need someone to tell them what to do; some need someone to be stern; others need to be comforted, and some just need to talk. This requires changing hats throughout the day depending on each client’s needs. We seek to ensure this difficult part of their life will be handled efficiently and in their best interests.”

“I strive to be available as a point of contact for our clients whenever they call” explained, Liene Hawkins. Since 2003, Liene has used her diligent and supportive character to the benefit of her clients and coworkers. “Family law issues are quickly changing and can be mentally strenuous for our clients, so I know how important it is to our clients to be able to reach us when they are in need.”

Finally, Kelsey Friend joined Phillips & Peters last year as support staff. After a few months in her role behind the scenes aiding the paralegals she has now taken on cases herself.  The newest addition to our team is pursuing a paralegal studies degree from Regent University as she works as a paralegal.
